Rentals are available on-site provided by Mad Peak Rentals, (605) 578-1994. Since we are located on ATV/Snowmobile Trail # 7, the Steel Trading Post also makes for a make an excellent departure and destination point in the winter and the summer.
The Steel Wheel Trading Post is also a gas station, allowing for a convenient place to stop and top off with quality gas or diesel. Our huge paved lot makes it easy to maneuver large Motor homes, vehicles and trailers with easy drive in and drive out access, eliminating the frequent hassles of parking. Also, be sure to go inside our store and check out the wonderful merchandise we have to offer. The Store carries a large variety of groceries along with many unique gift items.

America's Shrine of Democracy, Mount Rushmore National Memorial features the 60-foot faces of four great American presidents who represent the birth, growth, development and preservation of this country. Open year-round and located near hotels, the park includes a half-mile walking trail, museum, gift shop and dining room.
